You can open up to five portfolios per foundation (finpension 3a Pension Foundation, finpension Vested Benefits Foundation, finpension Vested Benefits Foundation II). In contrast, the finpension 1e collective foundation can only ever offer one portfolio per insured person for legal reasons.

Unfortunately, we have to disappoint you. We cannot currently offer you a pure account solution.

However, we do offer an alternative to cash in the form of money market funds. On this page you will find the money market funds you can use (under the asset class “Cash”):

3a Pension foundation: https://finpension.ch/en/3a/strategies/index-tools/

Vested benefits foundation: https://finpension.ch/en/vested-benefits/strategies/index-funds/

With an individual investment strategy, you can individually determine the share of the money market fund in the overall portfolio, for example, gradually increasing or reducing it.

You can change the strategy on the portfolio at any time. To do this, select the corresponding portfolio and click on the strategy and then on “Change strategy”.

The investment strategies offered by the pension foundations can be implemented with different fund houses.

Go to the portfolio, then to the strategy > change strategy to change the fund house. The question about the fund house is asked subsequently to the selection of the investment focus.

PS: You can recognise your current fund house on the strategy by the small logo at the top right of the strategy card.

To do this, go to the portfolio, click on the strategy and then on the “Change strategy” button. Then select the investment focus “Individual”.

Then you will get to the page where you can customize the strategy.

In principle, you cannot withdraw only part of a pension portfolio; you must always withdraw the entire portfolio.

However, there is one exception, namely the withdrawal for residential property. For owner-occupied residential property, you can also withdraw only part of a pension portfolio.
